A colleague lent me a book today that explains your personality and purpose in life using your date of birth.
First, add all the numbers in your date of birth. e.g. 23-09-1993 = 2+3+0+9+1+9+9+3= 36
Next, add the numbers up. e.g. 3+ 6= 9
For the above example, the final number combination will 36/9
Lastly, search for the number combination in the book and VIOLA!
My number combination says 38/11. There is a line in the book that says this (I cant remember the exact words, but the general meaning is there): "...you make changes in people's life, even if it's not to the community, among your friends, you are also likely to influence them..."
I didnt know I have such a major influence on people.
Come to think about it, maybe that is the reason why I am in the social service industry.
An interesting book and some of things written are so freaking accurate. It is a pity I had forgotten to take down the name of the book.
Something that I am very touched about.
I casually mentioned it to a student that my birthday falls on the same day as another student and weeks later, he actually got me a belated birthday present.OMT. I was almost in tears when i received the gift.
The wrapping skills need to be improved. hur hur.
It is a very cute pen holder!

It is a secret so I cannot say anything about the movie here.

Just kidding. I see some people rolling their eye balls while muttering 'lame'. haha.
I finally get to watch the movie with my brother yesterday. Surprisingly, the show is pretty good. It is definitely worthy to watch it in the theatres during the weekdays.
As I was discussing the movie with my brother, I came to conclusion on the possible reasons that made me like the show
1) Seeing Jay Chou in a character which is more lively than the characters he previously acted in (initial-d- act cool and curse of the golden flower- simply hilarious) is a very refreshing change
2) The piano plays an important role in the show. I have always like the piano.
3) I had very low expectation for the show. Hence even when the show turned out to be okie only, I enjoyed it, grateful that it is not as dreadful as I thought it was.
4) I like Jay chou.
LOL.
In conlcusion everyone should watch the movie. For non Jay Chou lovers, here is why you should catch the movie- the plot might seems abit bit cliche and you might even find it suspiciously familiar to 'some' movies you have seen but for the sake of the beautiful music in the show, the charisma of Jay when he plays the piano and the alluring vintage props in the movie, watch it.

What chasing the goose around the hut or whatever? FUCK LAH. I just want my parcel.

Top 5 Unforgettable Facts/ Moments during Secondary
1) Fish was the can opener for all cooking sessions at YZ's house
2) My bag weighed 5kg then
3) Hj and Pam had a heated debate over the osama issue
4) YZ said sorry to a RUBBISH BIN (People who don't have much friends tends to have more imaginary friends)
5) Pam, Eileen and I had the most "unforgettable" hairstyle then. Me the centre parting, Pam the mushroom alike and Eileen... just simply hilarious.

I just cannot emphasize how important good communication is.
Had a little misunderstanding with the colleagues today. I guess it was mainly my fault because I made an "ass out of you and me" (assume) and take things for granted. Harping on the problem only made matters worse and close friends will know I have a HUGE defense mechanism and I prefer to fins solutions than harping on the problem.
Problem was "solved" in the end but I think the bad impression will stay in their minds for a long time. I am lying if I say i don't care. I do.
Well, shit happens. At least they tried to be nice to me after that.
I have been tagged by da bie!!!! But sorry lah da bie I don't feel like answering the questions . bad mood.

I never knew dodge ball was played that way. It was really amusing to watch the kids play dodge ball. One boy actually commented: "The balls are too soft. It should be harder." Do not underestimate these kids. They are out to kill.

Looking at the schedule for for this month, I think I am going to enjoy this internship alot. Writing my learning agreement is going to be difficult because there are so many things I want to learn!
Another friend has turned 22. Happy birthday Debbie.
